Ultra-Lightweight Tipper Bodies
Ultra-lightweight three-way and two-way tippers are designed for 2-axle vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5–6.5 tonnes. The tipper is characterised by a low unladen weight and an administrative payload capacity of 0.5–2 tonnes.
The bodies we manufacture are made of high-grade steel and aluminium. The tipper structure provides increased strength and high resistance to damage.
These products are intended mainly for companies transporting low-density and lightweight loads, such as wood chips, gravel, leaves, and small loads of sand. The most common recipients of this type of bodywork are municipal cleaning companies and water and sewage companies. The low gross vehicle weight of a vehicle equipped with a tipper makes it suitable for work in large cities, where the movement of heavy vehicles is significantly restricted.
Body Description
- The intermediate frame is made of high-grade S355J and DOMEX steel, sandblasted and painted twice with primer and finished with a topcoat. It is also possible to manufacture an aluminium intermediate frame.
- Full front wall or lattice front wall up to the height of the cab.
- Aluminium side boards opening on the lower axis, hinged, two per side, closed together with a central locking system.
- Rear side board opened automatically or mechanically during rear tipping, hinged.
- The floor is made of 3.00–5.00 mm thick steel, offering increased resistance to abrasion and impact.
- Fixed or removable side posts made of steel.
- Underbody hydraulic cylinder, pump, and hydraulic equipment with PowerPack control system.
- Plastic mudguards with mud flaps.
- Marker lights in accordance with road traffic regulations.
- The steel structure is sandblasted, painted with epoxy primer, and finished with acrylic topcoat paint in any colour according to the RAL palette.
Optional Equipment:
- Side boards opening as a single piece, with a spring-assisted closing system.
- Increased side board height.
- Side boards divided lengthwise.
- Side boards closed from the inside with sheet metal.
- Side board extensions, mesh or board-type.
- Hydraulic outlet for controlling a trailer with ramps, 2 × 0.5 inch, dual-circuit hydraulics.
- Hydraulic outlet for controlling a tipper trailer, single-circuit hydraulics.
- Lower coupling.
- Tow hook. For 3-way tippers, please note that this interferes with the tipping system.
- Option to manufacture side boards from 3 mm thick high-grade DOMEX 650 steel.
- Option to manufacture aluminium side boards.
- Spare wheel lift on the front wall and a ladder mounted on the driver’s side, enabling access to the tipper body.
- Additional toolbox.
- Step on the side board to make it easier to enter the body.
